Day of Remembrance

San Jose's 37th Annual Day of Remembrance wil commemorate the 75th anniversay of Executive Order 9066, issued on February 19th, 1942, that led to the incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans in concentration campus during World War II.

This year's event features guest speaker Samina Masood, Executive Director, FACES, Congressperson Mike Honda (invited), a candlelight procession through San Jose's Japantown, and performances by Aswat Ensemble and San Jose Taiko.

Admission is Free and Doors open at 5 pm.
